The Ministry of Health will be administering COVID-19 booster shots for all fully vaccinated individuals.

The announcement came from Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh during Monday’s virtual press conference.

The Minister said further details will be released to the public in the coming days. Calls for boosters have been made from various quarters over the past few months. However, Deyalsingh said the programme can now be facilitated now that vaccine equity is no longer the issue it was prior.
