A father of four was among two killed in Carapo last night.
Nyron Philip, 42, of Carapo Main Road, died instantly after he was shot while at the home of a friend and his mechanic, Richie Ragoo, 33.
Guardian Media understands that at around 9:25 pm on October 25th, Philip and Ragoo were at Ragoo’s home in Carapo when an armed gunman entered and opened fire on them.
Both Philip and Ragoo died at the scene, while a third man, also from Carapo and aged 21 years, was injured. The third shooting victim was taken to hospital where he remains warded in a critical condition.
At the Forensic Science Centre in St James today, relatives of Nyron Philip described him as a family man who was always on the go.
They said he lived for his kids whose ages range from 17 years to 11 months.
