Western Division police arrested a 26-year-old man and seized an illegal during an anti-crime exercise in the Carenage district, yesterday.
According to official police reports, the exercise was conducted around 8 am on Saturday 3rd October 2020.
During the exercise, police officers proceeded to the Smith Hill, Carenage home of the suspect.
The suspect, who was in the house at the time of the exercise, was searched and found to have one revolver and four rounds of ammunition in his possession.
The man was arrested in connection with the find.
Investigations are ongoing.
