Caribbean Cinemas to re-open on June 25th

Caribbean Cinemas will open their doors on June 25. In a press release issued today, management stated that over the last few weeks preparations were ongoing to ensure the facilities, information systems and protocols met requirements and measures that would ensure the safety of their patrons.
The following is a press release from the management of Caribbean Cinemas:

Following the guidelines and recommendations presented by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean Cinemas is delighted to announce its re-opening on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at their locations in Trincity Mall in Trincity and SouthPark Mall in San Fernando.

During the past weeks, Management was focused on preparing the facilities, information systems and protocols to meet requirements and measures that would provide confidence to their patrons. Also, employees were trained and provided with the tools needed for their protection and knowledge to effectively interact with customers.

With this new normal and to minimize contact areas inside the theaters, patrons will have the option to purchase tickets and concession items online. When purchasing online, patrons will receive a confirmation code that would grant access entrance after being scanned by one of the ushers and could also pick up their concession items with minimum contact and no handling of cash or debit/credit cards.

It will be mandatory taking temperature at the entrance, also once inside, the use of facemask for patrons and employees is required. There are hand sanitizing stations around the lobby area, clients will also find signage with the new guidelines about the protocol in restrooms, lobby areas and auditoriums. Acrylic panels have been installed in ticket booth and concession areas to protect employees and patrons. Cleaning frequency has been increased on high contact points, such as door handles, counters, kiosks, doors and railings.

Auditorium capacity was reduced to create social distancing by leaving seats and empty rows between parties.

Additional cleaning time between shows has been added and will include seats and cupholders disinfection, as well as railings. By the end of the movie, patrons will leave auditorium in row order, as instructed by usher.

In the concession area, it will be compulsory for employees to use gloves, and protective gear.

For a limited time, Caribbean Cinemas will be offering discounts on all 2D movie tickets throughout the week; SouthPark $25.00 and Trincity at $23.00 Prices for the Premium auditoriums CXC and 4DX at SouthPark will be $35.00 and $75.00 respectively.
