Incumbent for the Canaan/Bon Accord seat, Clarence Jacob, has been returned as the People’s National Movement (PNM) candidate for the electoral district he won in the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) elections in 2017.
This, according to a PNM Tobago Council press release on October 29.
Jacob’s candidacy hung in the balance as his district was the only one that remained undecided on Tuesday October 27th, when the eight-member steering committee named 11 of the required 12 candidates to represent the party in the upcoming THA elections.
