Colleagues and coworkers of Andrea Bharatt could not contain their emotions as the funeral motorcade stopped momentarily in from of the Arima Magistrates’ Court on Prince St in Arima.
The place where she worked as a clerk and sadly the court where her murder accused appeared this week.
Wearing white T-shirts with her image on it and captioned ‘RIP baby girl’, her colleagues surrounded the white hearse sobbing uncontrollably.
“She was such a kind person,” one coworker told Guardian Media.
“She would stop whatever she’s doing to help you, her personality was in her work ethic.”
Another colleague told us that Andrea had the warmest and brightest smile for whoever came into the court.
They weren’t the only ones in mourning. Prince Street was filled with onlookers, most of them wearing pink.
” I didn’t know her personally, ” one woman told us, “but this girl’s death touched the nation.”
