A Lambeau man is due to appear at the Scarborough Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday August 9th, after being charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of ammunition.

Official police reports state that CHRISTOPHER JAMES was arrested after members of SORT, Scarborough Task Force and Crown Point Police executed search warrants at two residences located in Lambeau, Tobago, on Friday 6th August 2021.

Reports are that during the search, police allegedly found 221 grammes of marijuana, two live rounds of .38 ammunition, one spent shell of .38 ammunition, and TT$1,879 in cash, as well as CAN$10 and US$1 currency.

The man was arrested and taken to the Crown Point Police Station, where he was charged with possession of ammunition and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
