A 27-year-old man was chased and gunned down in Malabar on Saturday.
Police have since confirmed that it was a direct hit on the life of the victim who was identified as Shaquille Hall of Malabar Extension Road, Malabar.
According to a police report, Hall was leaving the home of a friend along Pomegranate Avenue in Malabar at 2.30 pm, when a white Nissan AD Wagon pulled up next to him.
One man came out with a gun.
Hall attempted to run away but was pursued by his attacker who shot him several times.
Hall collapsed on the ground near a basketball court.
Police and paramedics were notified, and officers led by ASP Ettienne and Sgt Mohammed responded.
Investigations continue.
