Two men were gunned down in separate incidents overnight on Sunday.

In the first incident, at about 7:10 pm, Damien Julien, 46, of Savannah Drive, Crissy Terrace in Enterprise, Chaguanas, was found dead in the kitchen of his home. Julien was a CEPEP worker.

Police said he was shot several times in the chest.  Several 9 mm spent shells were recovered from the scene.

In another incident, police said at about 7:30 am on Monday, airport cargo worker Justin Mulchan, 26, of Mahelal Street, Aranguez, had just exited his red Toyota Altis when he was approached by a man who pointed a firearm in his direction and shot at him.

Ag/Cpl George and a party of officers of the North-Eastern Division Task Force responded to the report and took Mulchan to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where he was pronounced dead at 8:17 am.

Police said according to a medical report, Mulchan suffered a single penetrative wound to the right lower torso.

The scene was visited by ASP Singh, Insp Bharath and officers from the Homicide Region 2.
