In this country, the sight of dead animals on the side of our roadways have become a norm. But the carcass of an endangered and exotic wildcat caused a stir in the quiet village of tableland this morning. Guardian media’s Rishi Ragoonath spoke with some of the villagers and Ria Rambally tells us, they believe the animal’s death was no accident.
