A new regulation has been issued allowing for dentists, paramedics and medical interns to administer COVID-19 vaccines.
The regulation was issued following today’s COVID-19 news conference.
It states: “During the period of public emergency, a medical practitioner or any of the following persons acting under the direction or supervision of a medical practitioner, may administer a 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) vaccine: (a) nursing personnel; (b) a dentist; (c) a veterinary surgeon; (d) a medical intern; (e) a dental intern; (f) a paramedic; or (g) a pharmacist. 4. These Regulations shall have effect during the period of public emergency.”
