The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) says customers in Port of Spain and environs are currently experiencing an interruption in their pipe borne water supply because of a ruptured 12-inch diameter transmission pipeline located along the westbound lane of Wrightson Road.

Emergency repair works are expected to be completed by 6:00 a.m. on June 24. Areas affected include downtown Port of Spain, Woodbrook and environs, upper and lower St. James and environs and Cascade and environs. WASA says that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas.
