Eight persons were arrested, and 39 tickets issued, when officers of Northern Division conducted various anti-crime exercises in the Arima and Arouca Districts, between Tuesday 19th May, and Wednesday 20th May, 2020.

Official police reports indicate that during one police exercise, warrants were executed in the Arouca Police District during the period 8:00 am to Midnight on Tuesday 19th May, 2020.

That exercise was supervised by Sgts Ramkissoon, Moona, Singh, and included officers from the Arouca Police Station.

Five persons were arrested for outstanding warrants. Thirty-Nine tickets were issued.

In Arima, Sgt Denoon, Cpl Jackman, and other police officers and members of the Trinidad and Tobago Air Guard (TTAG), arrested one man for possession of marijuana and another for an outstanding warrant.

Additionally, during a roving police exercise in Area Central of the Northern Division, one person was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

This exercise was supervised by Cpl Bedassie and included officers from the Northern Division Task Force, Central (NDTF-C).
