Confirmation by the ministry of social development that eviction notices by landlords are on the rise as citizens impacted by the pandemic struggle to pay rent. Minister Donna Cox says she has been receiving reports on various social issues that require emergency intervention. These include reports of single mothers and their children being forced to turn to the streets following eviction and domestic violence. Bobbie Lee Dixon here’s more.
