Citizens asked to submit ideas for COVID-19 road map to recovery plan

The committee responsible for the road map to recovery plan has asked citizens to put forward their ideas for the way forward. In a press release issued this afternoon, the committee asked citizens to share their views on issues facing your community, an industry or how they think that Trinidad and Tobago should be reopened.

The following is a press release from the Ministry of Communication:

A diverse 22- member team of Government Ministers, businessmen, economists and activists, chaired by Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Keith Rowley, has been tasked with the responsibility of creating a COVID-19 Roadmap to Recovery for Trinidad and Tobago. The team, which has as one of its Vice Chairmen, Minister of Public Utilities, Senator the Honourable Robert Le Hunte, has issued a call to all citizens to let their voices be heard by submitting their views on the way forward for Trinidad and Tobago.

Citizens are invited to be a part of the discussions by visiting the Government’s official website, iGovTT’s http://www.ttconnect.gov.tt to upload their submissions. Share your views on issues facing your community, an industry or the ways in which you think that Trinidad and Tobago should be reopened. K Let us come together to develop a successful Roadmap to Recovery for our country, following this unprecedented pandemic.
