FEEL to announce masks distribution soon

The Foundation for the Enhancement and Enrichment of Life (FEEL) is expected to announce, soon, the logistics for distributing cloth masks to the population, during the COVID-19 crisis.

In an official statement released today, FEEL explains that it will be collecting the reusable masks from local manufacturers who are supporting the masks-making initiative.

The full text of FEEL’s statement, follows…

The Foundation for the Enhancement and Enrichment of Life (FEEL)  has been requested by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago to undertake the responsibility of distributing reusable (cloth) masks to the national community as one of the measures to minimise the risk of spreading Covid-19.

FEEL is a registered charitable organisation that works to assist disadvantaged persons across Trinidad and Tobago, through a network of over 100 non-profit organisations.

In this instance, FEEL’s role involves the collection of reusable masks from local manufacturers who have come forward in support of this initiative. FEEL will distribute the cloth masks to the national community in accordance with guidelines from the Government of Trinidad and Tobago and through a mix of strategies including mobilisation of its network of non-proIit organisations.

FEEL has embarked on the logistics to effectively manage the distribution process and will notify the national community via the local media and social media on the details for collection of cloth masks by household in each community.
