A soldier uses the back of a colleuge to fill out his Immigration form before departing to St Vincent, yesterday.

Fifty members of this country’s defence force are currently on the ground in St. Vincent and the Grenadines helping those affected by the eruption of the La Soufrière volcano. The contingent would have arrived on the island a short while ago after leaving this morning on the Galleon’s passage. They are scheduled to stay on the ground for the next two weeks.
