A man only identified as ‘Fingers’ was shot dead on Wednesday night in Tunapuna. His body was found next to a bicycle in the carpark of a supermarket.

According to a police report, at about 10:20 pm, officers from the Tunapuna CID responded to report of gunshots at Stratham Lodge Road, Tunapuna.

On arrival at the scene, they saw the lifeless body of a man wearing a red jersey and a pair of blue long jeans next to a bicycle in the car park of CNA Supermarket.

The victim was only identified as ‘Fingers’. Police confirm he had been shot multiple times about the body.

The District Medical Officer visited the scene and pronounced the victim dead.

His body was removed to the Forensic Science Centre pending proper identification.
