One day after she spoke out about being unable to access monetary donations from members of the public and the business community to help her and her family begin rebuilding their lives after a fire that tragically claimed three of her children—Janelle Rodriguez said the matter has been resolved.

Speaking about the difficulty they had experienced after someone close to them took control of the Go Fund Me account that had been set up to help the family as she accepted the keys to an HDC apartment at Vieux Fort, St James on Monday—Rodriguez yesterday declined to provide any further details relating to the matter.

However, she sought to assure that the three people responsible for setting up the account, had nothing to do with the challenges they had faced.

On July 26, a fire destroyed family’s home at Rookery Nook, Maraval.

Three family members died including Ezekiel Burke, 17; Faith Burke, six; and Kayden Burke, three.

They were laid to rest on August 6.
