Four Tobago men were arrested and a firearm and quantity of ammunition seized by officers of the Tobago Division during an anti-crime exercise in Mason Hall last night.

According to police reports, officers of the Tobago Division Task Force and Joint Army Patrol, responded to a report of loud explosions at Belmont Road, Mason Hall, around 10:20 pm yesterday.

There they met with a male victim, who told them that around 10:00 pm, on that same date, he heard several loud explosions and upon checking, observed what appeared to be bullet holes in his house and his motor vehicle.

The officers carried out a search of the area and found one Taurus revolver, five rounds of live ammunition and eight spent shells in the vicinity of the house.

Further investigations resulted in four men from the area, ages 29 to 45, being arrested in connection with the find. Investigations are ongoing
