The top three performing students in the 2020 Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examination are girls.
Speaking at a press conference at the Ministry of Education headquarters in Port of Spain, Education Minister Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly said this year’s top six performers were all girls.
The top three winners are: Ameerah Bheekoo placing first from San Fernando TML, Anjanaa Dan placing second from Trinidad Renaissance Prep and Sushmita Ramsawak who placed third from Gandhi Memorial Vedic School.
This year’s top male student is Vineet Ramsarran from Eniath’s Preparatory.
The Ministry also recognised the top two performing students from special needs schools. They are Mattia Street from Cascade School for Deaf and Jordan Thorne from Audrey Jeffers School for Deaf.
