Gonzales recovers from COVID

Minister of Public Utilities and Member of Parliament for Lopinot/ Bon Air West Marvin Gonzales has recovered from COVID-19.

“I’m pretty good, I’m actually feeling much better than before I got COVID,” he said.

On January 10, the minister announced that he was positive for the disease.

But during a tour of South Port- of- Spain on Tuesday with Member of Parliament Keith Scotland and WASA officials. The minister said he feels great as his symptoms were mild.

“Just had some fever for about three nights and afterwards I kept feeling much better,” he said.

But even while in quarantine the minister said the work did not stop as he conducted several virtual meetings.

“I probably needed some rest so I took the opportunity to rest and do some reflection, actually I worked harder,” he added.

Gonzales said he is fully vaccinated.
