A firearm and a quantity of marijuana were found and seized in a bushy area in Felicity on Wednesday.
The discovery was made by officers of the Central Division Task Force, during an anti-crime exercise that was conducted between 3 pm and 7 pm, on Wednesday 11 March 2020.
Police reports indicate that officers—under the supervision of Snr. Supt. (Ag.) Simon, Supt. (Ag.) Mystar and ASP Smith—executed search warrants at several locations. Based on information, officers proceeded to Union Street, Felicity, where they conducted a search of a bushy area.
There, the officers found one black plastic bag containing one revolver, one round of ammunition and 47 plastic packets of marijuana.
The estimated weight of the drugs was 221 grammes.
No one was arrested.
Investigations are ongoing.
