Two vendors were held up at gunpoint while conducting sales at their stall in Couva on Monday.
Police said around 5:15 pm, the vendors were plying their trade at Rivulet Road near the NP Gas Station when two men armed with guns came out of a Tiida and ran up to them.
The gunmen then robbed one of the vendors of his cellphone valued at $1,400. The other vendor was robbed of $1,500 which represented the day’s sales. His $65,000 white Toyota Fielder wagon also was taken by the gunmen.
Investigations are continuing.
