A 45-year-old labourer will appear virtually before a San Fernando Magistrate on June 7th, charged with the murder of 39-year old, Kevin Babb.
Andy Bramble of Keate Street, San Fernando was charged with the offence following the advice of the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Mrs. Joan Honore-Paul.
According to police reports, on May 27th, Babb visited a friend at Keate Street San Fernando where he met the accused. An altercation ensued between the two men. Sometime during the argument, the accused allegedly armed himself with a knife, confronted Babb, fatally stabbing him in the chest. A report was made and officers attached to the Homicide Region Three Office responded.
The search for the suspect ended when he surrendered himself at the San Fernando Police Station where he was subsequently arrested. He was charged on June 4th, by Detective WPC Janelle Mohammed.
