Lambeau man arrested – marijuana, ammunition seized

A Lambeau man is due to appear at the Scarborough Magistrates’ Court tomorrow after being charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of ammunition.

Christopher James was arrested after members of the Scarborough Task Force and Crown Point Police executed search warrants at two residences located in Lambeau, Tobago, on Friday.

During the search, police allegedly found 221 grammes of marijuana, two live rounds .38 ammunition, one spent shell .38 ammunition, $1879 TT, as well as $10 CAN and $1 US currency.

The man was arrested and taken to the Crown Point Police Station, where he was charged with possession of ammunition and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

PC Ferguson of the Scarborough Task Force is continuing enquiries.
