A Marabella man currently is nursing gunshot wounds after being ambushed by an assailant as he arrived at his home last night.

Malcolm Moses, 35, is in a stable condition at the San Fernando General Hospital, police said.

According to a report, around 10:15 pm, Moses pulled up in front of his home at Riverside Drive in his B-14 car when he suddenly saw a man running out of a track.

Guardian Media understands the man, who was wearing a white hazmat suit and holding a handgun with an extended magazine, began firing at his car. Moses was shot on his left arm and left side of his chest, but he managed to drive off.

Shortly after escaping his assailant, Moses stopped in a yard at Bayshore East where he sought assistance and subsequently was taken to the hospital.

Police recovered four spent 4 mm casings at the scene.
