A mason from San Fernando is scheduled to re-appear in court in October to answer to one count of sexual penetration and three counts of sexual touching.
According to the TTPS, the man appeared before Senior Magistrate Rajendra Rambachan at the San Fernando Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 16, where the matter was postponed to conduct fingerprint tracing.
The man was arrested and charged the same day after the Child Protection Unit conducted investigations into a report made on October 23, 2020.
The report alleged that on three separate occasions in March, June and September 2020, the accused began to massage a 15-year-old girl during which time he touched her private parts.
The report also stated that on September 13, 2020, the accused allegedly performed oral sex on the girl.
The investigation was supervised by Supt Claire Guy-Alleyne and Ag Insp Khan of the CPU Southern Division and conducted by WPC Hull.
The man is due in court on October 7.
