Anesha Ramsundar, the Carapichaima woman who went missing on Sunday January 23rd, has been found.

Ramsundar’s sister, Nadira Mohammed, told Guardian Media that Anesha reached out to her relatives on Monday night to say she was safe.

Mohammed said the family was assisted by members of the Hunters Search and Rescue Group in their search for Ramsundar on Monday.

Anesha Ramsundar reportedly had left her Brickfield home shortly after 11 am on Sunday, telling her daughter she was going to a nearby parlour.

Around 1 pm that day, the child reached out to her aunt, Nadira Mohammed, to say her mother had not yet returned home.

The family launched a national appeal for help in locating the missing mother of three, and obtained the help of the Hunters Search and Rescue Group.

Anesha reportedly contacted her family last night, to let them know she was safe, and the Missing Persons Alert for her has been deactivated.
