A Tunapuna mother and her son were gunned down on Friday night in their home.

Katheleen Theroulde, 56 and Keiron “Juice” Theroulde, 29, died around 7.45 pm at their Cornelius Drive home.

Residents contacted police after hearing loud explosions coming from the property.

When officers arrived and entered the house, they found Keiron, a father of two, lying face down on the bed in blood. His mother was on the floor of the living room bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers believe the killers may have hidden in some nearby bushes before storming the house. Police believe the killers fired more than 30 shots inside the house before fleeing.

Residents described the two as “good people.”

A motive for the killing is yet to be determined. Investigations are continuing.
