Motorcyclist dies in road accident in Tobago, during curfew

A motorcyclist died instantly on Sunday night after he crashed into a van in Carnbee, Tobago.

A motorcyclist died instantly on Sunday night after he crashed into a van in Carnbee, Tobago.

26-year-old Nkosi Kerr, of Back Street, Mt St George, died in a road accident on Sunday, July 18th, at approximately 9:29 pm.

According to the police report, George was riding his motorcycle in a north-easterly direction along Buccoo Road, Carnbee.

He then attempted to go east along Auchenskeoch Road, Carnbee, but allegedly did not stop at the junction and collided with a motor vehicle.

The vehicle, driven by 42-year-old Garreth George—an estate constable with the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago—was proceeding west along Auchenskeoch Road, Carnbee near Buccoo Road.

Kerr received multiple injuries about the body and died.  He was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr. Okali, who ordered the body removed to the Scarborough General Hospital pending a post-mortem.
