A 23-year-old man was liming with friends in Princes Town on Sunday night when he was fatally shot.

The deceased has been identified as Kristian Nanan of Princes Town.

A police report stated that around 9:10 pm, the victim was with two friends at Seudath Avenue when he crossed the road.  A man wearing a mask and a hoodie reportedly walked up to him, pulled out a gun and shot him several times.

The assailant then jumped into a car and escaped.

Nanan was taken to the Princes Town Health Facility where he died while being treated. Nanan, who had a young son, suffered wounds to his head, chest, neck and arms.

Almost two hours before the incident, the police reportedly had warned Nanan about harassing his ex-girlfriend.  However, police are still trying to ascertain the motive behind his killing.
