Hundreds of public officers marched through east Port of Spain this morning to demand settlement of their wage negotiations.

The protesting workers, led by Watson Duke, President of the National Trade Union Centre (NATUC), wound their way through St. Paul Street and Besson Street.

They are marching to protest against what they believe is the Chief Personnel Officer’s delay in settling wage negotiations for workers from different state agencies.

The negotiations apply to different periods.

Bus drivers from the Transport and Industrial Workers Union (TIWU) and MTS workers are part of the march.
