The Siparia District Health Facility should have a new central air-conditioning unit for the entire facility, fully installed by mid-June 2020.
Confirmation on the procurement of the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system comes from the South-West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA), in a news release issued today.
According to the release, as an interim measure, the SWRHA says it has installed several large fans in the various customer and staff areas of the facility.
The SWRHA notes that it has been working since January this year to acquire the new system. It says “a supplier for the HVAC system has been recently and finally earmarked for the Siparia District Health Facility… following all due regulatory processes”.
The Authority is encouraging staff members to use the internal Customer Solutions Desk to address any matter, in relation to healthcare affecting their wellbeing. It also invites patients and clients to contact the Customer Service Centre at 87-SWRHA (877-9742), for any matter in relations to healthcare.
