DPP on Vindra Naipaul-Coolman trial

The Director of Public Prosecutions Roger Gaspard, S.C defends the decision of his office to go to trial in the Vindra Naipaul-Coolman murder and kidnapping.

After more than 2 years, a jury returned a not guilty verdict for 8 of 10 accused men on Tuesday.

Defense attorneys are critical of the decision, saying there was insufficient evidence to prosecute the case and its collapse was inevitable.
