Griffith takes charge

More action, less talk.

That's what Gary Griffith is promising as he officially picked up duties as commissioner of police today. 

Facing the media for the first time as head of the police service, Griffith made it clear that he has his work cut out for him.

 Meanwhile,  national security minister Stuart Young publicly thanked outgoing commissioner Stephen Williams for doing his best.
