Last week, we brought you the story of San Francique parents Seuroopersad and Nirmala Harrialal who are in a race against time to save the sight of their two-month-old baby, Sharaya, who has been diagnosed with a retina disease at birth. The surgery is unavailable publicly and the cost of treatment in private healthcare is too much for them to afford. Since the story aired the couple has been receiving cash donations, but are still shy of the total. We spoke with the Harrilals and Kristy Ramnarine has more.
