Charges are to be laid against two police officers and two members of the Defence Force who forced street dwellers to drink puncheon and white oak. At today’s police press briefing it was revealed that the charges which range from assault to mischief in public office were being finalised. Meanwhile, the DPP will now review the findings of a senior police official cleared of financial wrongdoings. Here’s more.
