One floor at the Prime Minister’s Office has reportedly been blocked off since the spouse of an employee from that area tested positive for COVID -19.
Information reaching Guardian Media was that the entire first floor of the building was affected and employees from that section were being tested .
The situation meant that people, who deal with certain responsibilities – including audits, freedom of information requests and Cabinet preparations – could not enter the building.
Communication Minister Smon de Nobriga didn’t answer calls yesterday.
