A 42-year-old man was ambushed and killed by gunmen at his home in San Juan, on Tuesday night.
The victim has been identified as Shawn “Pablo” Alleyne, of Sawmill Avenue.
Police said one of Alleyne’s female friends was with him at his home at the time of the attack but was not hurt. The incident occurred at about 11 pm.
Police said they were told that a masked man entered the house and shot Alleyne five times, killing him at the scene.
Police believe that the woman can assist them in their investigations, but they are giving her time to talk as she currently is not talking to anyone.
Police also report recovering a firearm near to the crime scene, which they think could be linked to the crime.
Investigations are continuing.
