The United National Congress is calling on the government to revert to some of the measures implemented in parliament during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the UNC chief whip, speaking time was reduced for debates. However with the mid-year review fast approaching, he says it’s crucial opposition speakers are allowed enough time to scrutinise the government’s spending.
