Parts of San Juan and Laventille currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply can expect to see relief by Tuesday night, at the earliest.

Parts of San Juan and Laventille currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply can expect to see relief by Tuesday night, at the earliest.

According to an advisory issued by the Water and Sewerage Authority, the Valsayn B Booster Station is experiencing mechanical issues, which has resulted in supply disruption.

WASA explains that emergency repair works are being conducted at the facility, and these are expected to be completed by 8:00 pm on Tuesday 16th March 2021.

Meanwhile, a limited truck borne water service will be available upon request.

The Authority also is reminding customers that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas, following the resumption of operations at the Valsayn B Booster facility.

Areas affected include:

●   Febeau Village

●   Sunshine Avenue

●   Laventille Road

●   Bagatelle Road

●   Malick

●   Trou Macaque Road

●   Pashley Street

●   Success Village, Laventille
