As Andrea Bharatt was given her final send-off today, pastor William Terrence called on the Government and Opposition to work together to protect our citizens from the criminal’ element, stating that wrongdoers seem to have more rights than law-abiding citizens in the country.
Delivering his message to hundreds of mourners who attended Bharatt’s funeral service at the Faith Assembly Church, Arouca, Terrence said the responsibility rests on the shoulders of legislators to pass laws, as he pleaded with Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and Opposition to act. He said crime in the country must not continue.
