PBR permits expire on Friday 31 Dec – Ministry

The validity of 2021 Priority Bus Route (PBR) Permits will expire on Friday 31st December 2021, an advisory from the Ministry of Works and Transport is reminding the public.

The validity of 2021 Priority Bus Route (PBR) Permits will expire on Friday 31st December 2021, an advisory from the Ministry of Works and Transport is reminding the public.

And the Ministry is reminding the public that unauthorised use of the Priority Bus Route will result in the issue of a Fixed Penalty Notice in the amount of $2,000 and six Demerit Points.

“Authorised holders of Permits are advised to adhere to and pay particular attention to the conditions stipulated on PBR Permits to avoid being fined,” the advisory said.

Meanwhile, the public is reminded that all licensing offices will be reopened for business on Monday 3rd January 2022. 

The Ministry notes that expired drivers’ permits, taxi drivers’ licences, badge, certificate, or other documents issued by the Licensing Division will be valid until January 31st, 2022.

Those persons with appointments originally scheduled between the period 24th December 2021 and 2nd January 2022, are encouraged to reschedule their appointment, via the online scheduling portal, https://licensingappointment.mowt.gov.tt.
