Penal Water Treatment Plant offline for maintenance today

Maintenance work currently is taking place at the Penal Water Treatment Plant, and is expected to be complete by 4:00 pm today, according to an advisory from the Water and Sewerage Authority.

WASA says it has provided a limited truck borne service (available upon request), for those customers in South-West Trinidad who are experiencing an interruption in their water supply today.

It also is advising customers that it may take up to 24 hours for the supply to be restored to some affected areas following the completion of repairs at the facility.

Areas to be affected are:

Penal, Quinam, Mora Dam Road, Zion Hill, Ramjohn Link Road, Moolai Street, Anthony Branch Trace, Reyes Trace, Water Well Road, Alverado Trace, San Francique, Doorbassa Trace, Sunrees Road and environs
