Pinto Boss murdered, thrown down precipice

Police are investigating the murder of Kareem “Blacks” Walters, also called “Pinto Boss”, 35, of Arima who was shot dead in Matura on Monday afternoon.

According to a police report, after 4 pm Walters’ body was found about 40-feet down a precipice off the Toco Main Road, Matura.

Police said he was shot multiple times about the head and body.

Walters lived at Pinto Road.

A motive is yet to be established for his killing.

The murder count stands at 192.

In an unrelated incident, a 17-year-old boy was shot seconds after he walked out of his home to go to a neighbour’s house to purchase a drink on Monday night.

According to a police report, at 8.15 pm the teenager of Clovis Trace, Maraval, had just left his house to purchase a punch drink when he was shot several times.

The teen’s mother on hearing the gunshots ran outside and made some checks and found her son lying in a bushy area behind a neighbour’s house.

The teen was shot three times and was taken to the St James Infirmary by police officers.

He was transferred to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
