The preliminary results of the General Election, released by the Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC), shows the PNM winning the popular vote. It puts the PNM at 22 seats and the UNC at 19.
The PNM got 322,250 votes and the UNC 309,188.
Watson Duke’s PDP got the third number of votes, with 10,367 followed by Phillip Alexander’s PEP with 5,933.
Jack Warner received 3,817 in Lopinot/Bon Air West but all other parties’ votes were in the hundreds or tens.
