Officers from the Professional Standards Bureau (PSB) of the TTPS are at this time executing search warrants and the headquarters of the Drugs Sou Sou in La Horquetta, Arima.
Shortly before 11 am, the officers blocked off the road leading to the premises from which the DSS operates.
The exercise is being led by Sgt Silver of the PSB and the warrants are for receipts and seizure of cash.
This is the second police raid on the DSS in just over a month. Last September 21, police raided the business place located in Phase One, La Horquetta, took nine people into custody and seized millions of dollars in cash.
Investigations are continuing into that operation after the money seized was returned to the DSS.
