The following is a press release from the TTPS:

Officers of the Point Fortin Police Station are now investigating the four
men who were intercepted by the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard in
a pirogue at sea on Friday 17th April, 2020.
Coast Guard vessel, TTS Carli Bay CG 28, captained by Lt T Mohip
with assistance from other Coast Guard officers, had caused to
intercept a pirogue south west of Erin Point with four occupants. Two
of whom are from Erin, Trinidad, and the other two Venezuelan
nationals and found in their possession $119,800.00 US together with
two grammes of marijuana.
The suspects were taken to Coast Guard Base, Cedros, and handed
over to ASP Abbott of the Point Fortin Police Station together with the
seized items.
