Officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force recovered a stolen vehicle while on mobile patrol during an anti-crime exercise today.
According to police reports, while on mobile patrol, the officers saw a dark brown Ford Ranger bearing registration TDP 4316.
The vehicle appeared abandoned on the eastbound lane of the Beetham Highway in the vicinity of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). Information from the I.A.T.F Joint Command revealed that the number plate on the vehicle was registered to a Mercedes Benz.
A wrecker was contacted and the vehicle was conveyed to the Besson Street Police Station. Additional investigations revealed that the vehicle was stolen from the Pinto area in Arima. Enquiries are continuing
